Terrence "Snake" Hawkins

Hailing from East Atlanta, Terrence "Snake" Hawkins began his musical career in the late 90's, where he was relocated to NYC to become the head of A&R for Mike Tyson's record label, Mike Tyson Records. As he got acclimated within the industry, Snake branched off of Mike Tyson Records, to join a management group, developing and kick-starting the careers of talent such as The Game, Pleasure P and more.
As Snake's music business expertise developed, he landed a position with PSC in the early 2000's, alongside of Jason Geter and Clay Evans. During his time with T.I., Snake began managing Grand Hustle breakthrough act, Young Dro, cultivating his career through hit records including "We Be In The City". After over 10 years working alongside Grand Hustle, Snake developed his own management company, Marki Management and began to elevate young rising acts. Under the Marki Management umbrella, Snake partnered with Amina Diop and the Diop Agency, as Senior Managing Partner. Working as a partner in teh Diop Agency, Snake and Amina managed two of the hottest hip hop acts - Young Thug and Gucci Mane, after Gucci was released from prison in 2016.
Outside of the music industry, throughout his 20-year career Snake collaborated with multiple athletes, managing sports careers of top tier talent including - Melvin Ingram (LA Chargers), DJ Swearinger (New Orleans Saints) and the music career of Lou Williams (LA Clippers). Snake also had a stint managing professional boxers including Hector "Macho" Camacho Jr., Travis Sims (Super Welter Weight Champion), Randy Griffin and more.
Currently, Marki Management is piping hot, fostering some of the best upcoming talent in the game including pop-out DMV rapper, Q Da Fool, who Snake signed to Roc Nation in 2018 through a long-lasting friendship with Emory Jones. Most recently Snake is cultivating breakthrough Billboard charting female act, Coi LeRay, as well as being a key player in the rise of 1017 Records, home to Billboard charting rap artist, Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Big Scarr and Enchanted. Snake also has crossed over into LatinX music, negotiating a JV deal with Sony/Orchard for rising Mexican hip-hop group, Designo. Terrence "Snake" Hakins has much in store for 2021, being a heavy-hitting music veteran in the game.
